About Me.
Hi, I’m Justin, a level designer with a background in visual and interactive design, which—if I’ve done my job—you’ve probably noticed while navigating my site. That foundation comes from studying UX/UI during undergrad at San Francisco State. While in that program, I took a game design elective, and that’s when everything clicked.
I realized level design merges everything I loved learning about in physical design—architecture, interior design, and industrial design—but with the added layer of player experience. That interest led me to FIEA at UCF, where I’ve been honing my skills in level design ever since.
Beyond my design background, my experience in the U.S. Marine Corps and security field gave me a unique understanding of how people navigate spaces both in real-world environments and virtual ones. From structuring SOPs based on campus layouts to designing levels that guide player movement, I’ve always focused on how space influences behavior, flow, and decision-making.

Outside of work, I hike, rewatch Parks and Rec, and always get well-done fries at In-N-Out.
